Synopsis

“FAMILY DINNER”! The rookie Green Lanterns try to reconcile some of their differences, when Simon Baz makes a terrifying offer to Jessica by inviting her over for dinner with his family. Can the two survive this with the mysterious Guardian tracking the duo?

Plot

Pima County, Arizona: Simon Baz is being beaten by Atrocitus and his only hope is his partner Jessica Cruz, who is currently being overcome by fear and hiding from the Red Lantern Army searching for her in the Hell Tower. When things look the darkest, Jessica finally makes her first construct, a giant flower bird. She uses this construct to destroy the Hell Tower and beat back the Red Lanterns.

Upon seeing this Atrocitus lets go of Simon and seemly retreats, all while saying "This is only the beginning". Once the Red Lanterns have left the sector, Simon looks for Jessica, whom when she appears seems to have powers as strong as Simon. The pair then seek out Sara, Jessica's sister and free her form the Green Lantern cocoon Simon put her in to keep her safe.

Dearborn, Michigan: Simon and Jessica go to Simon's house so he can introduce her to his family for the first time. The meeting is cut short when Rami, the Rogue Guardian, interrupts and commands the Green Lanterns to protect him and his invention, the Phantom Ring.
